WHAT THERE WAS
A family group of Alpine Hikers gathered to walk the trail
On the hike led by Paula this strange canker was found on cottonwood trees
The yellow-headed blackbird overlooks its territory from the roof of the bird blind
A great blue heron flies above a pair of wood ducks
Swainson's Peas are in bloom. Kids like to rattle the dried seeds.
A picnic followed to celebrate Mike's birthday
The big maple survives and seedlings pop up among native plantings
From the parking lot follow the concrete around that side of the building and take the path to the bird blind.
The cement path is ADA designed for wheelchairs, strollers, and easy walking for all.
Visitors can do that any day of the year.
